Meaderville and Columbia Gardens, both gone for dozens of years, are showing up in Google maps, Live Maps, Yahoo maps and Ask maps.

Meaderville was swallowed by by the Berkeley Pit in Butte by 1970. All the latest Internet mapping sites show Meaderville teetering on the rim of the pit. They will even give you directions on getting there even though it's behind closed mine gates.

Columbia Gardens was closed after a fire in the early 1970's and is surounded by waste rock piles and is adjacent to the East Continental Pit. It was located in McQueen, MT. You can get directions there, too.

I wonder if you can get directions to Atlantis?
